2026 Annual ECHO Pancakes & Pinwheels Awards Brunch

Registration ends Wednesday, 04/22/2026 11:59pm EST

Protecting Louisville's Children Together:  Building a Safer Community, One Rule at a Time!

We invite you to support one of Exploited Children’s Help Organization’s (ECHO) most meaningful community events—the 2026 Pancakes & Pinwheels Awards Brunch, taking place Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Louisville Science Center.

Held during April Child Abuse Prevention Month, Pancakes & Pinwheels Awards Brunch brings our community together to raise awareness, honor advocacy, and celebrate those working to protect children. Guests will enjoy a delightful brunch (featuring everyone’s favorite, pancakes!), hear from an inspiring speaker, and celebrate community partners and volunteers whose dedication helps create safer, healthier environments for children and families.

At a time of severe budget cuts and shrinking public funding, this fundraiser directly supports ECHO’s child abuse prevention programs and helps to ensure child abuse prevention programs can continue protecting thousands of vulnerable children in Metro Louisville. Your sponsorship or ticket purchase helps ensure essential education, prevention programming, and training remain available throughout our community.

At the heart of ECHO’s work are the Monique Burr Foundation’s 5 Safety Rules©—simple, evidence-based strategies that empower children and adults to recognize unsafe situations and speak up: (1) Know What’s Up, (2) Spot Red Flags, (3) Make a Move, (4) Talk It Up, and (5) No Blame | No Shame. Together, we are working to make these life-saving rules common knowledge across our entire community.

When you sponsor or purchase a ticket to the Pancakes & Pinwheels Awards Brunch, you’re not just supporting an event, you’re advancing ECHO’s mission to normalize safety conversations, empower families, and strengthen a community where children are protected and believed.

We hope you will join us in building a safer future for our community. Together, we can help prevent abuse before it starts!
