About This Event
End Hunger in Calvert County is inviting local businesses and schools to partner with us in the fight against hunger. Hosting a food drive is simple but makes a big difference for families in need right here in our community.
We’re asking businesses and schools to place a collection box in their entryway or lobby, making it easy for employees, students, and visitors to drop off non-perishable food items. These donations will go directly to our local food pantry network, helping ensure that no neighbor goes hungry.
Every box placed represents hope, generosity, and a stronger community. Together, we can make sure Calvert County families have the food they need.
How You Can Help:
-
Place a food collection box in a visible spot at your school or business.
-
Encourage staff, students, and customers to bring non-perishable items.
-
End Hunger in Calvert County will coordinate pick-up and distribution.
Join us today and be part of the movement to end hunger in our community!

Our goal is to secure 125,000 pounds of food this fall to distribute to families in need, especially over the winter months. $1.00 can purchase 5 pounds of food thanks to our partnership with the Maryland Food Bank.
