About This Event

Advanced Volunteers are experienced members of our team who want to deepen their skills and take on greater responsibility at the barn. After completing General Volunteer, Advanced Level 1, and Session Volunteer Training(s). Volunteers receive specialized instruction in horse handling, horse behavior, and advanced horsemanship.

This special Advanced Level 2 will include hands-on instruction alongside Cory Bourque (pending date) and EB staff.

Prerequisites:
Participants must have completed:

  • General Volunteer Training
  • Advanced Level 1 Training
  • Session Volunteer Training (not required, but encouraged)

Advanced Level 2 Includes:

($50 Registration + EB Hoodie Included)
• Groundwork (YoYo & Lunge For Communication)
• Tacking therapy horses
• Advanced horse handling skills

What You'll Gain:
• Elite knowledge of groundwork and horsemanship skills
• Hands-on mentorship with EB staff
• Exclusive EB volunteer hoodie as recognition of your commitment
• The opportunity to play a key role in preparing and caring for our therapy horses

Please wear:
• Closed-toe shoes or boots
• Comfortable barn attire
• Clothes suitable for outdoor activities and horse handling
