My name is Emaly Roy and I currently study criminal justice and psychology at Suffolk University in Boston. As a competitive athlete for over 14 years, I understand the importance of athletic organizations that support their athletes in ways that extend beyond just sports. In the future, I am hopeful to work in advocacy for victims of crime, as well as in harm reduction strategies fo substance use. 

I am amazed by The Army of Survivor's message to protect athletes from sexual abuse and ensure that perpetrators are held accountable I am running for the Army of Survivors as an advocate to raise awareness and empower survivors of sexual abuse.
