Register now for our Spring Homeschool Days!

Registration is open to homeschool families including students, parents, siblings and teachers. This is not a drop off program. All children must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. 

If the program you wish to attend is sold out, you may fill out our waitlist form and we will contact you if tickets become available.

  • Session I: Butterflies 10-11:30 am 
  • Session II: Wildflowers 1-2:30 pm

Cost: $15 per participant (student, sibling 3+, or adult), per session.
Children 2 and under free. 

Advance registration is required for all participants (students, adults and siblings). No walk-ups.

Morning programs may be followed by lunch or a snack in our orchard picnic area at no additional charge. We are a carry-in/carry-out facility. Groups using the orchard picnic area must bring a trash bag to carry out your trash. 

To protect wildlife, pets are not permitted anywhere in the sanctuary.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • REFUND POLICY: There are no refunds for programs you cannot attend, however you may transfer your ticket to a friend, colleague or family member by calling us in advance of the program date.
  • CANCELLATION: Programs are rain or shine. We will, however, cancel a program if Williamson County is under a severe weather warning issued by the National Weather Service. Participants will be notified of cancellations by email. If a program is cancelled, you will receive a credit (valid for 30 days) toward Day Pass admissions.

FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY & COMFORT:

  • Please dress for the weather. Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes suitable for hiking.
  • Please do not visit if you are not feeling well or have recently been exposed to someone with a respiratory illness.
  • Please bring a refillable water bottle, especially on days of high temperatures and humidity.
  • Our outdoor portable toilets each have hand sanitizers.
  • Insect repellant and sunscreen always recommended, depending on the season.

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS

By participating in Homeschool Days, I understand that my visit may involve physical activities that have a potential risk of injury. I agree to assume the full risk of any injuries,damages or loss which I may sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities connected with or associated with my visit. I agree to waive and relinquish all claims I may have as a result of participating in this program against Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary (OHNS) and their community partners, officials, officers, directors, employees, agents, and volunteers. I fully release and discharge OHNS, their community partners, officials, officers, directors, employees, agents and volunteers from any claim, demand or cause of action for injuries, damage or loss which I may have or which may accrue to me that may be asserted by or on behalf of me as a result of my participating in this program.

I also grant Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary the irrevocable right to use photographs and video or audio recordings of me made while participating in this program for training and/or promotional purposes, in any medium, without pay.
