About This Event
The STEM Alliance MAMK Gamers meet on Thursdays @ 141 Halstead Avenue in Mamaroneck with a STEM Alliance educator as your ESPORTS coach.

Sign your middle schooler up for the MAMK Gamers Fall 2026 Esports Team, competing in Fortnite through the U.S. Academic Esports League (USAEL), a national esports league that lets students compete against other schools and organizations online using a secure, school-safe platform. Beyond the matches, students dive into hands-on projects covering:
Game strategy — Team-building and play strategy practice
Digital literacy — Online safety, responsible AI use, and developing digital content
Social-emotional learning — Communication, leadership, and collaboration
Career connections — Career exploration into the esports industry
Students earn badges for achievements across all four pillars, celebrating growth both in and out of the game.
How it works: Students will compete online against schools nationwide over a 7-week season, meeting once a week at The STEM Alliance headquarters, with an additional 2 weeks of playoffs for teams that advance. Because players compete in pairs, consistent attendance is essential — it's required throughout the season and will factor into future enrollment. Showing up for your team is the first step to becoming a pro esports player!
*You must be a rising 6th, 7th or 8th grader to register for this team.
MAMK Gamers meets from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursdays, 141 Halstead Avenue, Floor 2, Mamaroneck, NY, at The STEM Alliance Offices.

**Makeup - (if needed) December 17
**Makeups are only used if needed as a result of class cancellation by the instructor due to illness or facility closure - not due to student absences.
Fees: $300 per student
Scholarships - if you are eligible, please fill out this form (We will follow up with your school's social worker or counselor)
