About This Event
On Tuesday, October 21, we are joining a community-wide effort called The Big Table. On this day, thousands of people representing different backgrounds and perspectives are participating in hundreds of conversations to discuss how we create a more kind and just future for all.
Our topic will be around Understanding culture and values for a better community. Following a short presentation on CLAS - Culturally, Linguistically Appropriate Services - there will be time for conversation. What is the difference between equity and equality? If justice is the end point, how do we get there? What is microagression? What is privilege?
We are hosting this conversation at 4300 E Broad Street from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM and we would like to invite you to join us and others as we listen to and learn from each other. Please let us know if you can attend this engaging and important conversation by Friday, October 17, 2025.
