Archdeacon and Deacon Directors Conference

Join us at beautiful Kanuga Conference Center in North Carolina for our first in-person gathering since 2019.

The church we know and love is changing, yet, the diaconate, the edge where faith communities and a desperate world meet, may be the renewal we need. The role of the deacon to empower the church, the people, is intrinsically connected to our knowledge of spiritual development and faith formation combined with our passion for spreading the Good News of Jesus through action. We'll explore various theories and models to assist us in moving individuals and faith communities to seek and serve the world. 

Onsite Check In begins at 1:00PM on Thursday, March 7. Last workshop and sharing concludes at 5:00, Saturday, and we'll share one last night, breakfast and worship at Kanuga's beautiful chapel Sunday morning, March 10.
