Volunteer Opportunities - Step Up for Recovery 2026

We are seeking responsible teens (12 and older) and adults to assist with PEER Services' annual fundraiser and community-building event, Step Up for Recovery!

Dawes Park Evanston (Sheridan Road between Davis & Lake Streets)

Volunteer Opportunities:

BEFORE THE EVENT

• Anytime: Post Flyers in the Community
• Wednesday, Sept. 30, 4-6 PM  Stuff event “Swag Bags” and fold & organize t-shirts at PEER Services, 906 Davis Street, Evanston

AT THE EVENT - Sunday, October 4th

Dawes Park, Evanston (Sheridan Road between Davis & Lake Streets)

• 10 AM – 12 PM – Set Up  
• 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM – Event Volunteers (Registration & Check-in, Greeters, Food Table, Raffle, Face Painting/Children’s activities Cheering Squad and other tasks as needed )
• 3-4 PM – Clean Up Team
