Join as for a Christmas Gathering and Potluck at our December Evening for Artists with a special presentation by Lucy Rahner. 

The topic of the evening is "The Importance of Play in Making Serious Art".  

Lucy holds a B.A. in Studio Art and Cultural Sociology from Vanderbilt University, where she was a Curb Scholar for Creative Enterprise and Public Leadership, and an MFA from the New York Academy of Art, where she was a President's Scholar and has served as adjunct faculty. She has been an Artist-in-Residence at the Sheen Center for Thought and Culture, Orein Arts, and St. Joseph's Artisans, and works as both a figurative oil painter and a conceptual sculptor. She enjoys curating topic-focused art exhibitions for Arthouse2B, New York's Catholic artist collective, and this past year she completed two large-scale oil paintings for St. Joseph's Church in Greenwich Village, which were installed alongside the oldest fresco in the U.S.
