Camp Overview
This year’s camp, Paint the World, celebrates Women’s History Month through art, music, and creative expression. The week is designed to offer engaging, developmentally appropriate studio experiences that build confidence, curiosity, and creative independence while honoring women’s contributions across art history, music, fiber arts, and visual culture.
By popular demand and in response to family interest, we’re excited to welcome our youngest artists with a new Kindergarten class at Spring Break Art Camp this year. Camp offerings now include Kindergarten, Ages 5–8, and Ages 9–12, each thoughtfully designed to support creativity, exploration, and joyful learning.
Day 1: Color & Courage – Expressing Feelings Through Art
Young artists explore how color can express feelings, ideas, and personal stories through playful, process-based painting and mixed-media exploration.
Day 2: Foundations & Futures – Art Across Generations
Inspired by the Flora Cameron Collection, campers learn how art is created, preserved, and passed down—honoring the women whose creativity and stewardship continue to shape art history.
Day 3: Threads & Traditions – Fiber Arts in Focus
Campers explore fiber arts such as weaving, stitching, and textile design, discovering how women have used these materials to tell stories and preserve culture.
Day 4: Sound, Style & Story – Music Meets Visual Art
Inspired by women in music and rock-and-roll poster art, campers create bold visual designs that capture rhythm, movement, and sound.
Day 5: Strong Voices – I Am an Artist
The final day is dedicated to completing artwork, reflecting on creative growth, and preparing for the mini art show. Campers share what inspired them and celebrate their artistic journey.
The week culminates in a Mini Art Show on Friday, March 13 , at 12:00 PM, where family and friends are invited to celebrate student creativity, effort, and growth.
