May 31st Bioblitz

Sunday, May 31st from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

The Citizen Science Committee will conduct a Bioblitz at our Dragon Flats property near the Teta Kain Nature Preserve. The primary goal is to to identify and record as many different species of plants, animals, fungi, and other organisms as possible. This is a members only event. Bioblitzes are fun and you learn a lot about nature and about methodologies important to citizen science.

There are no restroom facilities available. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Wear shoes or boots to keep your feet dry in case of rain or muddy conditions, and consider long pants and tick protection if you have them. Bring gloves, a snack, and water. We kindly ask that you leave your dog at home.

If you are not currenty a member, go to https://www.dragonrun.org/membership.html to join. Those that register will receive an email with directions. If you are registering more that one person, please include their contact information when signing up. Space is limited.
