Spring Choir Program

About This Event

In choir, scholars will develop their skills in reading music, ensemble singing, vocal technique, and familiarization with classical works of choral literature.

Upper school scholars will also have the opportunity to collaborate with the faculty choir in a presentation of an excerpt from Hildegard von Bingen's Ordo virtutum, one of the first known operatic-esque compositions in the canon of western music. Rehearsals will culminate in a spring recital on May 3, 2025.

  • 4th-5th Grade Choir: Tuesdays from 3:35-4:30pm
  • Upper School Choir: Mondays from 3:45-4:45pm
  • Fees: $100 per Scholar
  • Required Materials: black 1", 3-ring binder; water; pencil
  • Room: Upstairs music room
