Wetland Wonders!
Each May, Osage Park welcomes more than 600 5th and 6th grade students from schools across Northwest Arkansas for hands-on learning in our wetlands. Students explore the plants and animals that call Osage Park home while discovering why healthy wetlands are so important to our community.
Nature's Classroom!
From nature classes to summer programs, Osage Park gives students opportunities to learn outdoors. Our programs team helps young people discover how wetlands work, why conservation matters, and how they can become stewards of the natural world around them.
Volunteer Victory!
Osage Park wouldn't be what it is today without the people who give their time to care for it. Since the park opened, hundreds of volunteers have helped with stewardship projects, community events, and more, all while showing what we can accomplish when our community comes together.
Find Your Pickleball People!
With 8 outdoor pickleball courts, Osage Park is a place to get active, meet new people, and have a little fun. Whether you're squeezing in a game after work or joining one of our spring and fall tournaments, there's always a reason to grab a paddle and head to the courts.
Busy Beavers!
Did you know Osage Park is home to three beaver lodges? These remarkable animals are nature's ecological architects, helping shape and support healthy wetland ecosystems. Keep your eyes open along the boardwalks in the early morning or late afternoon. You might just spot one swimming through the wetlands!
It's a Plane! It's a Great Blue Heron!
One of Osage Park's most recognizable residents is the Great Blue Heron. These beautiful birds thrive in wetland habitats, and visitors can often spot them soaring across Lake Bentonville or standing quietly among the tall grasses along the water's edge.
