This class will provide hands-on instruction on how to safely cut glass, solder, and work with lead and copper foil. Students will choose a design, pick out their own glass, and construct one or more windows. Students will begin by completing an introductory project, before graduating to more complex projects and designs. All tools and supplies are provided. In addition, instructor Andrew Miller will demonstrate techniques and tools that may be used for restoring antique stained-glass windows, building lamps using copper foil, working with fused glass, as well as using Glass Eye Software to make your own designs.
