This Purple Thursday, October 16th at 6:00 PM, join Family Crisis Center for a powerful night of truth, healing, and advocacy as we host a community screening of HBO’s Private Violence — a gripping documentary that reveals the hidden realities of domestic violence in America.
We are honored to welcome Kit Gruelle to Jonesboro for this important event. Kit is a survivor, national expert, and tireless advocate who has spent nearly four decades training law enforcement, educators, healthcare professionals, and communities on how to respond to domestic and sexual violence. She is also the subject and advisor of Private Violence, which premiered at Sundance and aired on HBO in 2014.
