Registration has ended

About This Event

When: Tuesday, November 12th | 6:00pm-8:00pm

Where: Freeland SportsZone | 5690 Midland Rd, Freeland

What: Lead (formerly Self Love Beauty) will host their "Lead with STEM & Connection: Mother & Daughter Program." Girls ages 6 to 18 will enjoy a fun night of learning, talking, and doing—in a way that builds stronger bonds, improves communication, and strengthens relationships.

In STEM, having a high level of confidence, resilience, and self-esteem are critical to facing the tribulations of exploring the unknown and pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

Our Programs:

  • Provide girls a supportive environment for experimentation and a toolkit of mental health resources to bounce back from setbacks and try again
  • Nurture confidence, encouraging curiosity and resilience in conquering challenges, which research shows significantly impacts STEM career decisions.
  • Foster self-sufficiency by empowering youth to initiate goals, overcome challenges, and make independent decisions through confidence-building activities.

It is critical that we empower our girls to have the strength to trust in themselves and their ability to achieve.

Includes:

  • Dinner and entry to the event
  • Work together on STEM project that you get to take home
  • Additional connection and confidence activities
