Oak Haven's Open House

After years of planning, preparation, and construction, the Family Promise Guest House is nearly complete. We are excited to invite you to Oak Haven's Open House! 

We appreciate Oak Haven’s partnership, and we know Family Promise in Anoka County wouldn’t be who we are without our network of faith communities. We are excited to partner with your church leadership to co-host this Open House, giving the Oak Haven Community the opportunity to be among the first to tour the Guest House. 

The Family Promise in Anoka County Guest House opens its doors to 8 families facing housing insecurity in July 2026. This vision has taken years to accomplish and we appreciate your continued support.  

Families in Anoka County are increasingly struggling to afford rent and other basic needs. Year after year, we have seen the number of families needing support grow significantly. FPAC recognized this disparity and knew we needed to serve more families.  

The Guest House is an innovative solution designed to provide safe housing for families in our community. It will also create new, hands-on opportunities for your congregation and Family Promise to come together in our shared mission to support our community. 

What to expect? You will get a full exclusive tour of the full Family Promise Guest House and even see inside the rooms that will soon provide temporary housing for families. You'll also hear updates from Family Promise staff about the mission and vision. Lastly, you'll hear from your congregation's Advocate and leaders about plans to partner with Family Promise through volunteer teams providing hospitality in the new Guest House later this year.
