Jeremiah: Torn Down to Build Up

About This Event

This 22-week Bible study will be led by Dr. John N. Oswalt, an American scholar and distinguished professor of Old Testament at Asbury Theological Seminary.

The book of Jeremiah is unique in a couple ways. First, we see more into the inner life of a prophet than in any other prophetic book in the Bible. Second, it is remarkably disorganized, showing neither chronological nor content organization. The book’s power is found in its reiteration of several key themes that are no less relevant today than they were in Jeremiah’s day.
