FEAST before the FIGHT! A Prequal to FOOD FIGHT 2027

A Close-Up Culinary Experience

For one night only, our warehouse will transform into a full‑scale culinary showdown — complete with lights, music, competition, and creativity. Guests will be joined by award‑winning celebrity chef Stephen Coe, 5x Chopped Champion who also beat Bobby Flay, along with three talented chefs preparing tasting bites crafted from food sourced right here in our warehouse.

Each guest will have the chance to vote for Best Bite, making the evening a true popular‑vote competition. The winning chef will advance directly into the final round at Food Fight 2027.

An intimate culinary experience launching our expanded Food Rescue Program — and a first taste of the excitement to come.An unforgettable night of culinary creativity and community impact:

About our Food Recovery Efforts

South Shore Food Bank’s food recovery program captures unsold product and turns it into lasting community impact. By partnering with local retailers, local farmers and producers, we rescue high‑quality meat, dairy, produce, and grocery essentials that would otherwise be lost—and redirect them to families who need them most. This work is efficient, local, and deeply collaborative: every pound recovered reduces waste, strengthens our regional hunger‑relief network, and stretches donor dollars further. Food is shared with food pantries across the South Shore serving some 40,000 residents. For partners, it’s a chance to invest in a solution that is both practical and profound—one that builds resilience, keeps good food in our community, and ensures our neighbors are nourished with dignity.

Meet our Celebrity Chef Stephen Coe

Stephen Coe is a nationally recognized and award-winning chef, best known for his victory against celebrity chef Bobby Flay in “Chopped: Beat Bobby Flay” on the Food Network. Whether in the kitchen or one of his many food trucks, Chef Coe is known for his culinary creativity and ability to compete at any stage against any competition. 

Chef Coe’s other notable accomplishments include his “Chopped: Ultimate Redemption” win in 2019, winning the Grand Prize in the Food Network’s “Tyler Florence Recipe Contest” and the American Culinary Foundation’s “Boston Junior Chef of the Year.” He also holds the titles of “World Bacon Champion,” winner of the “World Food Championships” and “Grill Master” from the popular Food Network series "Chopped Grillmasters." 

Coe is a graduate of the prestigious culinary arts program at Johnson & Wales University and completed a certificate in French food and language at Institute François des Alpes in Annecy, France. He previously served as executive chef at Mirbeau Inn & Spa at The Pinehills and BOKX 109 American Prime at Hotel Indigo and is currently the executive chef of the Marshfield Country Club. 

He is a strong advocate of sustainable agriculture, sourcing his own honey and seasonal vegetation from local farms around the South Shore of Massachusetts. Chef Coe volunteers his time and talents at the Boston and Rhode Island food banks, Share Our Strength, the Matt Light Foundation, Hockey Cure for Kids, the Boston Rescue Mission and Meals on Wheels.
