Nature Walk with Ranger Jill: 10/4

Sunday, October 4 | 8am to 9:30am

Every Sunday in October, meet at the Nature Center for a walk and talk with our very own Ranger Jill. We will walk the river trail by the nature center, coffee or tea in hand, look for raptors, use our senses to take in the change in season, the sun's path, the dew on the plants, the creatures that greet us on our path. Nature journal what you see and we will track nature's cycles over time. An easy, meditative way to connect to nature together! 

About the Speaker: Jill Adams

Jill is part of the Land Stewardship team here at FRLT. She has a background in wildlife conservation, organic agriculture, and natural resource management, having worked throughout the western states, contributing to the study and conservation of many threatened and endangered species, including California condors, Mexican spotted owls, and the desert tortoise, as well as threatened plant communities within the state’s beloved serpentine grasslands.
