About the Trainer: Dr. Asha Dickerson, Ph.D., LPC, NCC, MAC, ACS  is a Licensed Professional Counselor, education consultant, and speaker based in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Dickerson has worked with individuals and families of all age ranges and her clinical and academic specialties include multicultural issues, addicted families, and blended family issues.

Objectives:

Understand the differences between ethics, morals, and the law

Learn to analyze ethical issues and how these issues influence SA and co-occurring treatment

Understand changes in the new ACA Code of Ethics and compare with other professional codes of ethics

Understanding ethical implications associated with technology and social media

Learn to apply problem solving skills in SA and Co-Occurring treatment
