Surprise Piece! from Studio Feeler
Akilah Scharff-Teoh is a Caribbean-American artist, living in Western Massachusetts, by way of Brooklyn. I’ve been a lover of art and museums since childhood, and though I began my art practice deep in my adulthood, I’ve always been an artist in some shape or form. Though clay is my primary medium, it acts as a gateway of interest in other artforms. I often find myself in liminal spaces creatively, because clay leads me to wonder about blending mediums that don’t traditionally go together.
