About This Event

The Haywood County’s third annual fishing tournament is a fundraiser for local youth fishing programs in Haywood County and to bring competitive fishing to the watershed.

Fostering youth fishing in the county provides our county’s youth the opportunity to connect with their environment in a fun and meaningful way; beyond our traditional aquatic workshops. As shown with our Kids in the Creek program, providing an immersive and educational experience in our backyard ensures our future generations will become stewards of our waterways.

  • 1st Place = $1,000
  • 2nd Place = $500
  • 3rd Place = $100
  • Youth winner = $100 gift card
