Flavors of the Foothills, Foothills Conservancy’s premier fundraiser, is an exclusive culinary experience led by Executive Chef Eric Morris of Foothills Local Meats restaurant group. This year’s menu will feature an unforgettable meal crafted entirely from locally sourced ingredients, many of which are grown at Oak Hill Community Park & Forest. Partnering with Lee’s One Fortune Farm, Chef Morris will highlight the unique Flavors of the Foothills.

This is a special year because FCNC is celebrating its 30th anniversary as a land trust, marking 30 years of land & water protection in Western NC.

Details about the event:

  • Date: Saturday, May 17th, 2025 from 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
  • Music by Joseph Hasty & Centerpiece Jazz
  • Event will be in the field across from parking at Oak Hill Community Park and Forest. 
    • We recommend wearing comfortable shoes
  • Accessible parking close to the event with special limited-mobility accommodations to check-in table if needed
  • Restrooms on site
  • Rain or shine, 21+ only, and non-refundable
  • Tickets are transferrable if you inform FCNC staff by Wednesday, May 14th.
  • Food provided by Foothills Local Meats Restaurant Group in partnership with Lee's One Fortune Farm.
  • Beer provided by Fonta Flora Brewery.
  • Wine list curated with consideration to the food menu.
