The Stories We're Told: Race and Representation in Media

A Panel Discussion — Flourish Foundations events help us understand how — and where — race and racism show up in the systems that shape our lives. This installment turns to the media: the news we read, the shows we watch, the stories we're handed about who we are and who we should be.

Join us for a panel conversation exploring how race and representation play out across the media landscape — from the narratives that get centered to the ones left out, and what it means to read, watch, and listen with a more critical eye. Panelists will be announced soon.

This is a space to learn, ask questions, and think together about the stories we're told — and the ones we're ready to tell differently.
