About This Event

Kaiser Permanente‘s Fremont Park Bloom is a vibrant outdoor art installation transforming one of Midtown’s most beloved green spaces into a glowing garden of creativity for more than 40 days. Debuting at a VIP fundraising event, Midtown Love, on May 7 and opening for free to the public for Midtown Second Saturday on May 9, 2026, the installation features towering 6–9-foot illuminated poppy sculptures inspired by California’s state flower, bringing bold color, light, and artistic expression to the heart of Midtown for a striking visual experience both day and night.

Presented by CADA and Midtown Parks and with support from the City of Sacramento, Brown Construction and LBT Investments, Fremont Park Bloom celebrates the power of public art to activate shared spaces, support local artists, and bring the community together. Through immersive design and free public programming, the installation highlights Midtown’s thriving creative culture while helping ensure local parks remain active, welcoming, and inspiring for everyone. Through projects like this, Midtown Parks brings together artists, community members, and local partners to activate public spaces and create memorable experiences across Midtown and your support makes it possible.

Support this one-of-a-kind immersive art experience and get something special in return while helping Midtown Parks continue bringing free, creative and community-driven programming to our public spaces year-round.
