Evening Paddle on Aziscohos Lake

About This Event

Evening Paddle on Aziscohos Lake 🛶

  • Where: Aziscohos Lake
  • When: July 20th | 6 p.m.
  • Space is limited to 12 boats – don't wait to sign up!

Come explore the upper portion of Aziscohos Lake with your kayak, canoe or paddleboard. If you don’t have one of your own, then our friends at Rangeley Adventure Company have rentals available, and they can transport it to the event for you. Rentals are first-come, first-served.

Meeting place: 5 p.m. at the Morton Cutoff and Route 16. The road to the launch is dirt and can be bumpy, so we recommend a vehicle with high clearance. We will depart at 5:15.

What to bring: kayak, canoe or paddleboard, LIFE JACKETS (must be worn on the paddle), paddles, snacks, water, sunscreen, bug spray, towel, and binoculars

Questions? Feel free to contact Registered Maine Guide, Seth Laliberte, who will be leading this trip for RLHT: sethlaliberte1@gmail.com.

---

Enjoy an evening on the water and learn about RLHT's efforts to conserve more than 78,000 acres surrounding Aziscohos Lake and the Magalloway River as part of the Magalloway Project. RLHT is working with our partners, TNC Maine, Northeast Wilderness Trust, and Forest Society of Maine to complete this once-in-a-generation conservation effort that preserves public access, fish and wildlife habitat, working forest and connects a corridor of more than half a million acres of conserved lands.
