Se'Si'Le Presents: Seven Sisters on San Juan Island

We welcome you to join us as Se'Si'Le and Friends of the San Juans bring back to the San Juan Islands the Seven Sisters: Return of the Matriarchy for this capstone event of their 2026 campaign. The Sisters are prominent Indigenous women from Alaska, the Salish Sea region, the Columbia River basin, and the Amazon basin who have dedicated their lives to environmental justice, re-storying our obligation to Nature, and caretaking for future generations our kin-centric relation with the Creation.

The Seven Sisters Campaign is a National, multi-site public engagement and leadership initiative led by Se’Si’Le in partnership with tribal, environmental, and faith-based organizations. This campaign elevates the leadership of Indigenous women whose work addresses the intersecting crises of biodiversity loss, climate disruption, and environmental injustice.

Please join us at Brickworks on Friday, November 13th from 2-4pm for an afternoon presentation by the Sisters and Se'Si'Le. This event is all-ages and free, with no registration required.
