Event Details

Time: 6:00–9:00 PM

  • 6:00–7:00 PM: Exclusive CE session presented by Dr. Bridget Ehrhart-Bennett and Dr. Matthew Yau "Empowered Prescribing: 20 Best Practices for APRNs" (1.0 hour of Pharmacology CE credit - available only to registered event attendees)

  • 7:15–9:00 PM: Alumni and Friends Networking reception immediately following

This event offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow FNU alumni and community members, engage with university faculty and leadership, including Dr. Flinders, and enjoy a relaxed, welcoming environment. Attendees will also receive FNU swag and have time to network and reconnect with the FNU community.

Our exclusive PHARMACOLOGY CE topic will highlight the most common prescribing pitfalls encountered across NP practice settings and provide practical, evidence‑based strategies to avoid them. We will explore high‑risk areas such as drug–drug interactions, inappropriate dosing, inadequate monitoring, and pitfalls in antibiotic and controlled‑substance prescribing. Through real‑world examples, participants will strengthen their prescribing safety, confidence, and decision‑making. This topic is broadly applicable to providers across all specialties. All are welcome to attend! We can’t wait to see you!

One drink ticket and heavy appetizers will be provided. Cash bar available after you use your drink ticket. We encourage you to bring yourself and your FNU spirit for an enjoyable evening of learning and connection.

We hope you will join us for this special Chicago gathering and look forward to seeing you there.

This is a FREE event. Please RSVP and include if you are bringing a guest in the ticket count, so that we are able to plan accordingly. Can't wait to see you there!
