Fall Harvest Dinner

Join us on October 4, 2025 at 5:30 p.m., as chef and food journalist Amy Thielen will join us to craft a true midwestern harvest meal. Thielen is a two-time James Beard award-winning writer and chef. She’s the author of three books: The New Midwestern Table, Give a Girl a Knife (a memoir), and her latest cookbook, Company: The Radical Art of Cooking for Others from W.W. Norton. Tickets include a copy of Company: The Radical Art of Cooking for Other.

Thielen will also be join by Jazer Syed, owner and chef of Duck Alley in Saugatuck. Together they will debut Ox-Bow's newest functional sculpture, the Zig Zag Grill by Meriem Bennani. The grill was originally created for RenBen 2025 at the University of Chicago with support from Richard Wright and Valerie Carberry. 

Tickets are limited and include a copy of Amy's latest book - join us as we dine en Plein Air on the meadow to welcome in the Fall season.
