About This Event
Every year, Ox-Bow brings together our Chicago community for an unforgettable evening where art, community, and creativity collide.
Join us on Thursday, November 6 at 7:00 p.m. at The Color Club for our annual Winter Break! This year, Ox-Bow will be honoring Ayanah Moor as our Peter Williams Awardee. The Peter Williams Award recognizes a BIPOC Faculty member whose teaching and mentorship exemplify excellence and care for the student experience, life-long learning, and creative exploration.
Winter Break is your chance to celebrate, spark conversation, and fuel imagination, all while investing in Ox-Bow's future and the artists and dreamers who make their way there. Plus! The beats for this event will be brought to us by TRQPiTECA, a Chicago-based artist duo and production company founded by DJs, artists, and producers Natalie Murillo (La Spacer) & Jacquelyn Carmen Guerrero (Cqqchifruit). After all, what is an Ox-Bow party without a killer soundtrack?
Get hungry while dancing the night away? Not to worry, Pizza Lobo is sending fresh, hot pies our way for your enjoyment!
Every ticket purchase supports Ox-Bow’s Artist Equity Fund, which ensures that BIPOC artists can participate in programs like the Hold Space Grant and Longform Residency during the 2026 season.
If you have questions, please reach out to Kate Nguyen at knguyen@ox-bow.org.
