Picture the Power II: Counted Opening Reception

Join us for the opening reception on October 9th from 6pm - 8pm.  The Power Coalition Arts Framework presents Picture the Power Vol. II: Counted, a statewide photography exhibition exploring what it means to be seen, heard, and counted, with its Baton Rouge presentation opening Friday, October 9, 2026 from 6-8pm, at the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge’s Cary Saurage Community Arts Center. Following stops in communities in Lake Charles and Lafayette, Counted returns to Baton Rouge bringing together Louisiana photographers whose work is creating a visual record of how policy and democracy are experienced in real life.
