Please register by August 2nd so we can plan in advance! We recommend registering early as this event tends to fill up quickly. After August 2nd, we will be in touch to send you a copy of any sheet music that could be used at the reading party, so you can brush up on anything you'd like. Enjoy!
To help make this fun event possible, we charge a registration fee of $15 to cover organizational costs and the time of our Chamber Director. Thanks for your support!
“I want to play my favorite music, but it’s only possible with other musicians.”
“I love playing chamber music, but I just don’t have time to get my friends together.”
“I wish I had more friends who want to play music with me!”
If any of the above sounds familiar, join us for a Chamber Music Reading Party! This casual, one-time experience with chamber music is a great way to make new musician friends and enjoy chamber music together.
You’ll prepare or sight-read chamber music pieces with other adults, have some refreshments, and meet other music enthusiasts. You might even find the missing piece for your next chamber ensemble, or discover that you want to join one for the first time!
What if I’m completely new to chamber music?
You are welcome to try playing with others in this encouraging space! Before you arrive, you’ll be assigned to a room based on the level you indicate on our registration form, so that everyone can be part of an experience that will work for them.
What music will we play?
We’re currently in the process of deciding what to play based on everyone’s skill and experience levels. We will send out a list of planned music prior to the party so that you can brush anything up if you’d like. If you have a piece you’d really like to play, leave us a suggestion when you register!
