See music through new eyes at the 2026-2027 A New Lens concert series!
Our September 18th concert is a special Faculty Showcase, representing the talent and diversity of our teaching artists at Powers.
Please join us to hear a variety of different selections and perspectives on music, performed by the exceptional artists who guide you and our students each day.
A New Lens concerts are free to attend, and all are welcome. A $20 suggested donation supports the series and performers.
Location and Parking:
Free parking is available in front of the building or the lot on the corner of Lexington and Beech Street. Powers is walking distance from Waverly Square, which is serviced by the MBTA’s Commuter Rail (Fitchburg Line) and the 73 bus.
Accessibility information: Powers currently requires guests to go up a short flight of stairs to the main floor of the school. We are committed to improving access to our building for those with limited mobility. The school is in the early stages of this large and important project, but there is no formal timeline set for when it will be started/completed as of yet.
