About This Event

Join us for our annual Hispanic Heritage Month Luncheon!

On September 18th, we will kick off Hispanic Heritage Month by celebrating the power and legacy of the Latino community in Georgia.  The Latinx electorate has become a force in Georgia, and the Hispanic Heritage Month Luncheon gives our community a platform to amplify the power of Latino-Hispanic voices in our state.

We are thrilled to announce the speakers for our upcoming Hispanic Heritage Month Luncheon! This year, we are bringing together powerful voices from both the national stage and our local community to celebrate cultural heritage, inspire leadership, and acknowledge the contributions of the Hispanic communities across Georgia.

Meet the leaders who will be taking the stage:

National Keynote Speaker

Ruben Gallego
U.S. Senator for Arizona

U.S. Senator Ruben Gallego is a Harvard University graduate, Marine Corps combat veteran, and dedicated public servant. First elected to Congress in 2014, he distinguished himself as the highest-ranking Latino on the House Armed Services Committee during his decade in the U.S. House of Representatives. In November 2024, he was elected to the U.S. Senate, where he continues his lifelong mission to champion economic opportunity, veteran care, and working families.

Local Keynote Speaker

Claudia Caycho Acosta
Founder & Managing Attorney
Acosta Injury Law

As a dedicated personal injury and workers' compensation attorney, Claudia overcame significant barriers after immigrating from Peru to Georgia and earned her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law in 2013. She began her career in immigration law, which gave her deep insight into the systemic obstacles faced by immigrant families. Today, she uses that expertise to bridge a critical gap in representation, providing compassionate, results-driven advocacy for injured individuals and underserved communities throughout Georgia.
