About This Event
We are excited to invite you to be part of the relaunch of a beloved community tradition--the 2027 Island Heroes & Hounds Calendar.
This special project will feature local Galveston Island firefighters volunteering their time alongside adoptable dogs and cats from Galveston Island Humane Society. Photographed at iconic Galveston locations, the calendar is designed to celebrate local heroes, showcase deserving shelter pets, increase adoptions, and raise critical funds to support our lifesaving mission.
We are seeking local businesses, organizations, and community partners to help bring this project to life through sponsorship support. By participating, your business will be aligned with two causes that resonate deeply within our community: honoring those who serve and helping homeless animals find loving homes.
Sponsors receive valuable recognition throughout the calendar campaign and may be featured in the calendar itself, promotional materials, social media outreach, community events, and local media coverage. Opportunities range from monthly sponsorships featuring a firefighter and adoptable pet, to supporting our exclusive Cover Sponsor and Launch Party Sponsor opportunities. The Launch Party Sponsor will help underwrite a community celebration at Galveston Island Brewing, where sponsors, supporters, firefighters, and adoptable pets will come together to officially unveil the 2027 calendar.
Beyond the marketing and visibility benefits, your sponsorship directly supports the ongoing work of Galveston Island Humane Society, helping provide shelter, medical care, adoption services, and second chances for animals in need.
Below each sponsorship tier you will find a summary of available sponsorship opportunities. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss the project, answer any questions, and explore how your business can be part of this exciting community initiative.
Thank you for your consideration and for helping us celebrate local heroes while creating brighter futures for homeless pets.
