Late Autumn Garden Walk

About This Event

Think the garden goes to sleep in November? Think again. Walk the paths with Geoffrey Blatt and discover the hidden beauty of the late-autumn landscape—from the sculptural strength of bare branches to the rich textures of seed heads and winterizing flora.

While spring and summer get most of the glory, late November begins to reveal the true bones of the LongHouse garden and the intentional relationship between art and the landscape. With his designer's eye, Geoffrey will explore with you the way outdoor sculptures and natural forms—structure, texture, form—interact in the late-season light.

Whether you are looking for inspiration for your own winter landscape or simply want to enjoy a peaceful seasonal stroll, bundle up and check in at the GateHouse entrance from where you will proceed with Geoffrey on a tour that will offer a fresh perspective on LongHouse and the colder months ahead.
