When we experienced baby loss, we both experienced how isolating grief can be. We learned how difficult it is to find people who understand, how often loss goes unspoken, and how deeply a mother needs to know that her baby matters and she is not alone.

Those experiences eventually led us to Gathering Hope.

We believe awareness is only the beginning. Awareness should lead to compassion, compassion should lead to community, and community should lead to hope. Sponsoring Gathering 2027 is one way you can help make that hope tangible for loss moms.

Why the Gathering Matters

Grief after miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss can be made even heavier by loneliness and the feeling that no one truly understands.

Gathering Hope creates spaces where women can come as they are, honor their babies, connect with others who understand, and receive meaningful support as they navigate life after loss.

Gathering 2027: Light in the Darkness

On March 6, 2027, approximately 75 loss moms will come together in Fort Worth, Texas, for a purposefully intimate, one-day national conference centered on connection, hope, and being known.

Our 2027 theme, Light in the Darkness, is rooted in the promise of John 1:5. Through worship, encouraging speakers, practical resources, shared meals, and meaningful time with other loss moms, guests are reminded that darkness does not have the final word and they do not have to navigate grief alone.

Approximately 50 trained volunteers will thoughtfully care for our guests throughout the day. This includes 17 Table Leaders who create safe spaces for the meaningful table conversations that are at the heart of the Gathering.

In our most recent post-conference survey:

• 98.4% of attendees said they felt more supported in their grief journey

• 93.7% said they had more resources to help them with their grief

• 85.7% said they felt better equipped to help others with their grief

Behind each number is a loss mom who left with more support, more resources, and the reassurance that she does not have to walk through grief alone.
