BuckFin 2026

Twenty-nine years ago, a couple Geneva Dads were in search of a unique event that would promote the school by raising desperately-needed funds. One of our Geneva Granddads was familiar with hosting wild game dinners, and offered up an old barn in Alturas for a charming, beautiful evening in the pastures along Peace Creek. For the next twenty-six years, the DANA Camphouse was host to the Geneva BuckFin Banquet! Thanks to the "sweat equity" and generosity of our hosts, friends, and donors, BuckFin has raised nearly two and a half million in essential funding.

Two years ago, Geneva brought this wonderful event home to our campus, and we are excited to welcome you back once again for BuckFin 2026!

This one-of-a-kind evening is packed with raffles, silent auctions, bullet pulls, and card tricks, culminating in a spirited live auction. Guests can browse auction items while snacking on delectable appetizers like gator tail, or consider a bullet pull while they savor our slow-roasted whole hog. The dinner buffet this year will all be made in-house with meats smoked slow right where dinner is served!  

BuckFin has always been dedicated to the glory of God, and we would ask that you join us in prayer for this year's event. With the funds you help us raise, we pray that Geneva will continue to reform education in our community and assist families in fulfilling their biblical obligation to educate and train their children. We are committed to instilling in our students a Christian worldview, grounded in the Reformed faith, through a classical, Christian educational model.

Our goal for BuckFin 2026 is to raise $120,000 to directly support the academic and spiritual formation of our students. We are deeply grateful for your support and we look forward to seeing you here at Geneva Classical Academy on February 27th at 6:00pm!
