Growing Medicinal Plants

Join us to learn how to propagate, grow, and harvest medicinal crops that thrive in the Birmingham area. This class will cover the horticultural management of plants like elderberry, passionflower, ginseng, echinacea, bee balm, crossvine, and more. We will also consider how these plants function within a small farm ecosystem. Please dress for the weather, as a portion of this class may be on the farm! This workshop is put on in partnership with Alabama Cooperative Extension System.
