MJC offers an innovative field studies dyad class that combines training in geology and archaeology/anthropology. Field classes provide the hands-on, active learning necessary for success in our disciplines. Students are typically responsible for their own travel expenses (camping or hotel fees, museum admission fees, and special event fees), as well as registration and book costs. Your contribution will allow more students to participate in this critical learning environment by covering travel expenses and adding highly relevant and educational tours such as a walk through a slot canyon in Arizona and a tour of a mesa-top pueblo in New Mexico, as well as viewing an active lava flow and exploring archaeological digs in the Hawaiian Islands.
Our students thank you for your support.
