The Friends of the Miami-Dade Public Library is hosting an exclusive member social on Saturday, April 25 at 5pm featuring National Geographic Photogapher George McKenzie Jr.

Based in Florida’s Northern Everglades, George uses specialized camera traps to capture rarely seen images of one of the state’s most elusive animals - the endangered Florida panther. His work sheds light on the vital importance of the Florida Wildlife Corridor and the interconnected ecosystems that sustain it.

This special event is open only to Members of the Friends and promises an intimate evening with light bites, wine, and lots of time to ask questions of our esteemed guest, learn about his story and his photography, and experience his camera trap equipment up close.

The event will be hosted at the amazing Green Space Miami. Space is limited so please register to secure your spot today.
