Jeffry Gordon is a Nashville‑based creative professional whose work spans music, lighting
design, and civic engagement. His technical work includes designing and producing environments that integrate brand messaging, public‑space activation, and precise engineering.

Along with his focus on lighting for film and television, he designs full-scale production studios and is currently leading the development of a major projection initiative, aimed at enhancing Nashville’s
downtown corridor and expanding opportunities for creative and commercial collaboration.

Through his combined experience in music, lighting, and civic engagement, Jeffry brings a multidisciplinary perspective to projects that bridge artistic expression, technical execution, and commercial / community impact.

Jason Marlin is the founder and owner of Nashville Lighting & Grip and has spent more than 25 years working in the film and television industry as a Director of Photography (DP), camera operator, and lighting professional. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising with a minor in Art from Middle Tennessee State University.

Jason founded Nashville Lighting & Grip in 2013 with a vision of providing world-class lighting and grip support to productions throughout the Southeast. Today, the company supports everything from commercials and music videos to feature films and television productions, serving clients including Netflix, Apple, HBO, American Idol, and Audi.

Jason believes that great lighting is both a technical craft and a creative art. He enjoys taking an idea from concept to completion and is passionate about helping filmmakers understand not only how to light a scene, but why certain lighting choices create emotion, depth, and impact.
