Project Accelerate: Reimagining Workplace Equality For young women ages 18 to 24
Through Project Accelerate, young women attain relevant leadership, social emotional learning (SEL), and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) skills that will help them throughout their career trajectory and:
successfully navigate through their college experience;
participate in valuable paid internship opportunities;
connect and establish relationships with mentors and coaches;
experience rewarding and well-compensated employment opportunities.
Project Accelerate targets college-aged women, equipping them with skills allowing them to enter the workforce. A comprehensive Project Accelerate experience includes:
Mentoring
Assistance in securing paid internships
Professional development opportunities and workshops
Curriculum that includes the four elements of college success: Financial Literacy, Academic Support & Preparation, Culture/Belonging, and Health & Wellness
Individualized program plans (non-clinical case management)
Assistance in applying to postsecondary education and support during the college experience
