The Base Camp Experience: A Taste of Camptown is Camptown’s reimagined signature fall event, taking place on September 18, 2026 at Base Camp, our new 26-acre home in Indianapolis. Formerly known as Glamp-Out, this refreshed event invites guests into the heart of Camptown for an immersive, walk-about evening that celebrates adventure, community, and the life-changing impact of the outdoors. Rather than a traditional seated dinner, guests will move throughout the property enjoying food and drink stations, games, hands-on activities, music, dancing, and interactive experiences inspired by Camptown’s mission and programs. Along the way, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how Camptown uses outdoor adventure and mentorship to help youth build character, confidence, and hope, while also experiencing the vision and potential of Base Camp as a permanent home for this work. The Base Camp Experience is both a celebration and a fundraiser—an opportunity to experience Camptown firsthand while helping invest in brighter futures for thousands of young people across Indianapolis.
