Join us for a magical evening at Jackson Pond Preserve as we explore the nighttime world of pollinators and other fascinating critters. As the sun sets, we’ll take to the trails for a gentle Glow Hike, experiencing the preserve in a whole new light by blacklight.
Afterward, we’ll set up special moth lights to attract nocturnal pollinators, offering a unique opportunity to observe and identify a variety of moths and other nighttime insects up close. Along the way, you’ll learn about the important role these often-overlooked species play in our ecosystem.
Come curious and ready to discover—this is an evening you won’t want to miss!
Registration is $10 per family. On the registration page, please include how many children will be attending, and if you are staying for both the Glow Hike and Moth Night, or if you plan to stay for just one part of the event.
Cancellation Policy:
Events may be cancelled due to inclement weather, insufficient registration, or other factors. If this occurs, we will update our website and notify registrants as promptly as possible.
Heritage Conservancy is not able to offer refunds for cancelled events. Registration fees are rolled over to a donation that supports our vital work in the community: land conservation, historic preservation, community engagement, and education.
Photography Policy:
By attending Heritage Conservancy programs and events, you consent to being photographed for possible use in print and digital media, including web and social media. If you prefer that your photo not be used, please inform Heritage Conservancy staff in advance and at the event.
