About This Event
Join us for our second Dinner Party of 2026 on March 10th with Chef Tiara Adorno, Executive Chef of The Crooked Ram and 2026 James Beard Award semifinalist for Best Chef: Northeast!
For this Dinner Party, Chef Tiara will share a taste of Blue Fern Commons, her personal culinary project rooted in heritage recipes and the flavors that inspire her most. The evening will center on her empanadas, with a live demonstration that walks guests through the foundations of the meal.
During the show, she plans to demonstrate how she builds a classic sofrito, prepares empanada dough and fillings, and cooks rice with pigeon peas. The final menu will feature empanadas and a selection of complementary sides, which may include items such as braised beans, cabbage slaw, and house-made dipping sauces. Specific dishes and pairings will reflect seasonal ingredients and the chef’s creative direction.
The conversation will also explore how her work at The Crooked Ram, alongside Peter, has supported the launch of Blue Fern Commons and given her the space to develop new ideas and projects.
Your support of Dinner Party helps fund GNAT-TV’s nonprofit mission:
