Welcome to Go Run Missoula Summer Camps 2026!

We are excited to offer a variety of camps this summersome open to all genders and others specifically designed for girls and non-binary youth. Please read each camp description carefully to ensure it's the best fit for your runner.

This summer’s lineup features exciting half-day options like Trail Running & Orienteering, Run & Bike Camp, and Strength Camp, along with our ever-popular Overnight Camp. We’re especially excited to announce that our legendary Marathon Camp is expanding to a full-day experience this year!

We can’t wait to spend an unforgettable summer filled with movement, connection, growth, and fun!

All Day GRM Marathon Running Camp - FEMALE & NON-BINARY ONLY

Get ready for a week of empowerment, movement, and fun at Go Run Missoula Extended Summer Camp! Open to all incoming 3rd - 9th grade girls and non-binary youth. The week long experience will blend community connection, running adventures, and team building. 

Campers will take part in the Tony Banovich 5k during the Missoula Marathon Weekend on June 27 and volunteer together at an aid station on Sunday, June 28 for the marathoners!

When: June 22–26 (Monday–Friday)
Time: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Who: Incoming 3rd–9th grade youth
Location: Pineview Park, Playfair Park, and Downtown Missoula

Overnight Trail Running Camp - ALL GENDERS WELCOME

We’ll kick off the week with a hands-on day of preparation and connection. Campers will learn to set up and organize base camp, review our plan for meals, snacks, and hydration, go on a group run, build teamwork through fun challenges, and get an introduction to basic wilderness first-aid skills.

Campers will build strong foundations in efficient running form while learning trail stewardship and proper etiquette. They’ll gain essential backcountry safety knowledge, practice basic wilderness first-aid skills, and build strength and endurance through purposeful, trail-focused training.

Open to all genders

When: July 6–9 (Monday–Thursday)
Time: 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Who: Incoming 3rd–9th grade youth

Location: The first day will take place at McCormick Park, followed by an overnight camp experience in the Bitterroot.

Registration: Register at the Parks and Recreation website on 3/1 at 9am.

Strength + Run Camp - ALL GENDERS WELCOME

Come join our Strength + Run Combo Camp! We’re thrilled to partner with Endurance Physio for the strength-training portion of this dynamic program.

Participants will build functional strength, gain confidence, improve body awareness, and learn to move efficiently and safely. By combining purposeful strength sessions with engaging run workouts, youth will enhance endurance, coordination, and overall performance — all in a supportive, team-centered environment where fun comes first.

When: July 13–17 (Monday–Friday)
Time: 8:30 AM–12:30 PM
Who: Incoming 3rd–9th grade youth

Location: Daily drop-off and pick-up will be at Parks and Recreation, with strength sessions hosted by Endurance Physio. Local trails and roads will be used for the running portion of the program.

Open to all genders

Registration: Register at the Parks and Recreation website on 3/1 at 9am.

Trail Running and Orienteering Camp - ALL GENDERS WELCOME

Spend the week exploring local trails while building awareness and orienteering skills. Campers will set and pursue meaningful fitness goals while discovering their strengths, values, and passions.

Throughout the week, youth will develop efficient running form, practice trail stewardship and proper etiquette, and build essential trail safety and basic first aid skills. In partnership with Grizzly Orienteering, campers will also learn to read maps, use a compass, and navigate to checkpoints, strengthening confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills every step of the way.

Open to all genders

When: July 27–31 (Monday–Friday)
Time: 8:30 AM–12:30 PM
Who: Incoming 3rd–9th grade youth

Locations: Local trails around Missoula

Registration: Register at the Parks and Recreation website on 3/1 at 9am.

Ride + Run Camp with GRM + MTCX- ALL GENDERS WELCOME

Join GRM and MTCX at Marshall Mountain for an adventurous Ride & Run Camp experience! Each day begins with 1–2 hours of trail running and hiking to build endurance, strength, and confidence in a fun, supportive environment. After a well-earned snack break to refuel and recharge, campers hop on their bikes for 1–2 hours of riding to develop bike-handling skills, trail awareness, and overall fitness.

This camp is designed to challenge youth in a balanced, empowering way by combining movement, skill-building, and time outdoors.

Open to all genders

When: August 3–7 (Monday–Friday)
Time: 8:30 AM–12:30 PM
Who: Incoming 3rd–9th grade youth
