MARCH ON explores the multigenerational legacy of Grambling State University through the lives of three featured Gramblinites: Denise Young '77, alumna and former C-suite executive at Apple; Dalvin Adams '15, alumnus, Los Angeles-based commercial photographer and entrepreneur; and Rylee Beaudion '28, a third-generation Gramblinite majoring in Elementary Education and Visual and Performing Arts.
Set against the backdrop of Grambling State’s historic campus, the film follows their stories from performing arts spaces and academic labs to the Square and the University’s Digital Library and Learning Commons. Through their experiences, MARCH ON reveals how Grambling State has changed, evolved, and continued to shape the lives of those who call it home.
As Grambling State University celebrates its historic Multiversary—125 years of academic excellence, 100 years of Tiger Athletics, and 100 years of the World Famed Tiger Marching Band— MARCH ON honors a legacy rooted in purpose, carried across generations, and still moving forward.
Beginning in September and continuing through the conclusion of the Multiversary celebration, MARCH ON will travel to cities across the country, bringing the Grambling State story directly to alumni, friends, partners, prospective supporters, and communities. Each complimentary experience will feature the 35-minute film, followed by a moderated conversation with prominent members of the GramFam whose voices and experiences will vary by market, and conclude with a reception designed for fellowship and meaningful connection. Through storytelling, conversation, and shared experiences, the tour will reconnect generations of the GramFam, cultivate new relationships, and extend the celebration of Grambling State University’s legacy and impact to communities across the country.
